To help keep MyTopStock safe and useful for everyone, users can report reviews or messages that may violate our rules. This page explains how reporting works and what happens after a report is submitted.

1. What You Can Report

You may report reviews or messages that you believe include:

line_start_square Harassment, hate speech, or abusive language

line_start_square Threats or encouragement of harm

line_start_square Spam, scams, or misleading content

line_start_square Personal data shared without permission

line_start_square Illegal content or content promoting illegal activity

line_start_square Impersonation or fraudulent behaviour

line_start_square Any other content that violates our platform rules

2. How Reporting Works

When you click the Report button:

line_start_square The report is recorded against the review or message.

line_start_square A user cannot report the same review/message more than once.

line_start_square We use reporting to help detect content that may require moderation.

3. Automatic Removal After Multiple Reports

To reduce harmful content quickly, MyTopStock may automatically remove a review if it is reported by multiple different users.

line_start_square Reports from unique users are counted (duplicate reports by the same user are not counted).

line_start_square When the number of unique reports reaches an internal threshold, the review may be automatically deleted.

line_start_square Automatic removal is designed to protect users and reduce obvious abuse or spam.

Please note: the threshold for automatic removal may change over time as we improve the platform.

4. Manual Moderation

In addition to automatic removal, we may review reports manually. If a report is reviewed by our team, actions may include:

line_start_square No action (content remains)

line_start_square Content removal

line_start_square Account restriction or suspension for repeated violations

5. Misuse of Reporting

Reports must be made in good faith. Using the reporting system to target, harass, or falsely report other users may result in action on your account.

6. Data We Store About Reports

To operate the reporting system, we may store limited data such as:

line_start_square The reported review/message identifier

line_start_square The reporting username (or account identifier)
